Our History
The business of Winchester Feed was started in 1969 as a warehousing facility for Purina Mills.
In 2000 Andrew Ritter purchased the business and installed their first small batch mill to serve the central Kentucky market.
In 2016 Winchester Feed moved into an all new, much larger building. This has allowed for the development of an equine only dedicated mill and warehouse. In addition a new business known as Winchester Nutrition began to serve the cattle producers in central Kentucky in partnership with Burkmann Mills of Danville Kentucky.
An exciting future is before us with increased capacity and expanded customer service for both the professional horsemen and the commercial cattle producers of central Kentucky.
